Are you curious at all?

Curiosity

I've met the most interesting people

Seen the most interesting things

Heard the most intriguing stories

Because I held genuine curiosity

The open door

And said hey. 

Why not?

What's there to live

If not everything?

Anything?

All of it

You can't just have 

"Cake by the ocean" (or whatever the hell that means)

All the time 

There's gonna be some scrapes

Some bumps

Some heavy bruising

For sure

And if you can't prevent it

If you have no idea when it's coming

If it can come for you anytime,

In the middle of the night,

In the safety of your own bed and home.

Then why not go looking for it?

Not looking for death.

Looking for life.

Looking for the thrill of living.

It's like I tell my girls;

"If a new experience,

A new adventure,

Doesn't scare you a little...

You're doing it wrong"

It should scare you!

It should push your boundaries!

It should bring you out of whoever

You think you are.

And ask you,

"Is that all there is?"

And make you take a closer look 

And answer back

"No!"

Go forth

Go openly

Go with your heart on your sleeve 

Your heart in your hand, achingly-bleeding love

Extended to all you meet

To every experience

To every breath

Go!

Even when you think you've got no breath

Go!

even if you fear you might not come back

Go!

We all have our lives to lead

We all have our own very specific path

Which is why no "guru", book, boob or other brain

Can tell you 

Where to go

It's only your own unique path

So you have to Embrace it

Embrace it all

Love it

Yes IT!!!!

All of it

No matter what it is

And never stop believing

That love transforms

Love transforms everything 

Because 

Love is life

Love is living

Love is EVERYTHING

it's all around us in everything

You just have to believe

You only have to open your eyes to it

I'm not saying there is not danger

Even Christ was crucified

But ask yourself 

If you could live

Like Christ

Like Buddha

Like Rumi

Like countless other sages and saints

From Joan d'Arc to the Virgin Mary

If you could live in the light of God

As they did

Wouldn't that be something?

And wouldn't that be

Worth giving it all up for?

Well?.....

And all you need to do

The only thing really 

Is that

You have to give up living in the lies

The pretenses 

You have to Give up living with your ego 

Leading the way

Give up living for yourself

In every sense of that way

And

Live instead

For God

For the light that lives within you

For the love that is ALL

For the soul

That most fortunately 

As long as you have breath to take

You can always reclaim

Find your humanity

How can a nation born of dilinquints and prostitutes,

A nation where the people currently in power took over the land of the indigenous people and rule them with a heavy hand,

Be their laws mostly humane

Their society mostly civilized

How can they now

Turn away immigrants.

Coming off boats?

Which is exactly how their forefathers got there. 

Maybe it would have been better for the whole world,

If the natives of Australia

Had confiscated their boats and sent everyone to an encampment on Nauru

Instead of letting them settle on the mainland. 

Maybe the Native American should have chased away and killed The Pilgrims

Maybe Mexico should have built a wall around what is now Texas and California

Before the Americans rose to claim it, kill for it and steal it

These are all just conjectures.

None of that matters

What matters is what we do now
