How much I want to believe the people and things I love
And what I am willing to sacrifice
It shouldn't be that way
I shouldn't have to sacrifice a thing
If they love me back

It should always be mutually beneficial
On all levels
Not just economic

It feels so good
That 5 minutes of love
Is worth a day of hell.....sometimes
Those 5 minutes make up for it just enough
To keep going on
And isn't that a beautiful thought
That any one of us
At any time
Can have that kind of impact
On someone else's life
Isn't that something to keep in mind
To keep in ones heart
That simple thought
That to them
This moment with you
Could be like life and death
Literally
Who's to say it couldn't.
Some days
We all need talking off the ledge
Some days
It's all we can do to stay afloat
Life can be so intensely hard
And conversely
Life is so mesmerizingly beautiful
When you live with God first
It truly is
It's like those 5 minutes of love
All day long
And that's the absolute best
Anyone can ask for
In this life
or any other
