Wouldn't it be nice if life worked that way

As much drink

As much money

As much love

As much time

That if we all really only actually took

As much as we really needed

There would be enough for everyone

And everything.

Simplistic maybe

But it's worth a shot.

Everything we've tried thus far in the evolution of man

Has basically sucked ass

Technology

that technological advancements

No matter how much originally noble

If at all

Can be used as acts of terrorism

Against humanity

Should not necessarily deter people from going into science

It seems an unfortunate fact that our collective consciousness

Hasn't grown to keep pace with it

When we've had this wisdom with us for a very long time
