Heaven

I don't care who you are

What religion you are

or if you even believe in God

If you are a good person

You will go to Heaven

If you are a good person

Your heart will be pure

and your life

while not easy

can be filled with peace

can be filled with love

All it takes is doing your best

not just for yourself

but for everyone and everything you encounter

which will be different for everyone

I'm not saying "save everyone"

I'm not telling you to move mountains

Sometimes all you can do is leave something as you found it

but never worse

and hopefully better

and in between

the key thing

above all else

is to never

no matter the circumstance

never ever

no matter the consequence

tell a lie

and if/when you do

rectify it immediately

because lies will eat away at you

they will eat away at your life

they will eat away

slowly but surely

everything you love

I know it

I've seen it

I've lived it

so it is the one thing

above all else

I try not to do

So my own personal commandments are:
(everyone should have commandments; it's just a set of rules for life is all)

Try my best (never someone else's best)

Let my heart lead**  in every circumstance

Absolutely NEVER lie

Slow down and take time for nature & for myself *

-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-

*(that's the hardest one for me; I'm so inclined to feel selfish doing so sometimes.  But this is important. How are we to nurture others if we do not/can not nurture ourselves?)

**The lead with your heart encompasses a lot so that could really be different things at different times.  Your heart knows, there is no steadfast answer here. There is no cheat sheet; I'm sorry.   Sometimes leading with your heart looks wrong to everyone around you, but as long as you know it is the right thing to do, you must follow through.  And you will always know what to do if you just listen.  The problem is that the heart is soft and quiet (generally) and the mind and ego are loud and obnoxious (generally).  That's how I differentiate them at least.  You have to learn to differentiate these things for yourself or you will be led astray.   Meditating helps to learn to hear the voice more clearly.  Praying.  Communing with nature.  If you want to hear someone, really hear their heart.  Hold their hand and look into their eyes while they talk to you.  That is a surefire way.  Corny I know. Who does that?  We should.  God knows that would solve so many issues.

Another really key thing in life

if you want to find peace and happiness

is to stop looking at people and things that get in your path

as inconveniences

as stressors on the way to where you need to be

or what you need to do

they are there for a reason

deal with them

and do so with an open mind and heart

everything is meant for a reason

trust in the experience

trust in your life

It is hard

Sometimes

But practice

and practice

and keep practicing

Until it becomes second nature

let the faith bleed out of you

Let the love pour like gravy over your entire life

over everything

and everyone you encounter

and you will see

your life transformed

I guarantee
