What's wrong with aging?
Why is that so disgusting of a thought?
Could it have anything to do with our disdain towards our elderly?
It's rare to find too many extended families that are together by choice in the white American community. At least the ones I've seen.
But it isn't like that in other cultures. In other cultures they are revered and cherished, so people gladly and lovingly pass into their old years, because they know they are being taken care of, but a community, by their family, by their (all aged friends).
Ever wonder if it became weird to hang out with strangers and then they became a danger?
I'd like to build a community, where the ones that live there are cherished. Everyone knows each other well and are a true extended family or mixed people. Wouldn't that be so nice? Sure it would have it's bumps and hiccups, but we'd screen as best we could before hand, they'd meet all the current tribe and be accepted in unanimously (can any group do anything unanimously - yea I guess Juries do, al-be-it begrudgingly sometimes)
