If you can look your fears straight in the eye
Standing square head on to them
And say
Screw you
I'm backed by the power of God
If you can look death itself in the face and say
So what
I'm backed by God
Then you're life would be truly magical
Because then
You could truly live your life
With your heart in your hand
Now
This is a terribly hard thing to do
We all live only a pace away from our boogieman
So the threat seems ever so constantly real
But if we can embrace the fear and transform it to
Love and acceptance
Then we will be truly alive
Truly living
But the crux of it is
It's a very hard thing to accomplish
Or bumping into the likes of Jesus, Buddha, Joan of Arc's* would be an every day occurrence.
Don't you think?
