Cloaking

It used to be if people saw things that weren't here, heard things that weren't there, etc. it was either ghosts, psychosis or pranks(deceit). Now. Sci-fi has caught up to reality to a great degree. There are military and government programs that fund full scale cloaking operations. It exists. Already. From an article I read from 2011 they talked of barely getting started and only small objects could be cloaked but now some are claiming that they can cloak to such an extent as Malaysia flight 370.

It's more than possible is the unfortunate part. Now how much more complicated will life get?  When you can't even believe what you see and hear anymore. Fucking science. Playing God. Always playing God. When and where does it end?  And why can't it be used for good. Why for war?  Why for profiteering?  Why by the few rich and powerful?  These types of advancements should benefit the entire world. That's where science gets it wrong. It's so catastrophic when used for evil that it should have a code of ethics strictly adhered to. Then we wouldn't have a problem with the whole GMO thing, vaccines, cloning or cloaking. If it was only used for the actual benefit of mankind and not for corporate profiteering and greed then a lot of the arguing would be pointless.
