Bible

when I was young. I used to read the dictionary like some people read a bible. Language intrigued me. Captivated me?  This means this, but not that, but could be that in this situation. I was humorously pleased when a word would give a circular definition. In other words it would say one word that would lead to another word that would lead to a third word that would lead back to the first word. In essence telling me it had no idea what word it was. I don't know if the Internet is more well versed than an old dictionary, but I found it absolutely hysterical. And I considered life was like that too. That sometimes people didn't know what the fuck they were talking about to begin with either.

Anyway.

That's why I want to read the bible one day. Front to back. Because almost everything I've heard said by Jesus himself were words of miraculous wisdom and humanity, humility and love. Sure it's filled with some other crazy, non-sensible items. But what religion isn't and what bible would I even pick. Like there aren't a million versions including the original language which no one even speaks anymore. Am I not right?  In some museum locked under key. Does it even exist?  Is it even real?  Wasn't the bible written over 2-300 years after Jesus died. There are justifications for it all. I'm not saying there aren't. What I'm saying is who really knows.

So I have to follow my own heart. And some of the things I've heard these great people have said "Jesus", "Buddha", "Romi". Some of it is so extraordinarily magical.  Does that mean you follow blindly?  No. It means they are guide posts to rescue your soul from the murkiness that can be life.
