Give me the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth

If that hasn't been the absolute hardest thing to get (for me) in this lifetime

I simply do not know what is

Because as far as I'm concerned

That's at the top of the heap

And I realize

I'm a bit neurotic

At times

Just like everyone else

Not more

Not less

Once you average it out

As if it could be done

That way

But the truth

No matter how hard

Or how painful

Is always better

Now I grant you

That truth can be very subjective

At times

With many truths happening

Simultaneously 

So if I could just have your vantage point

To make up my own mind*

In the trenches with your life

Every day
There
Telling me your absolute truth

Then I would be so much better

So much happier

In the end

And along the way as well
As I truly know you would too

And isn't that all we really want

Happiness ALL along the way
