Fuck you Times

Fuck off

Mass media

I'm so angry at your fucking bullshit

Stories like this make me so mad.

Here is a reputable, world famous publication spouting out what exactly?  For what purpose?

The only thing I gathered from that is that people that are not accepted in the country they were born into feel isolated and depressed, and they start to seek to feel a part of something bigger than themselves. No fucking kidding?  Isn't that why people are patriotic?  Why some love sports?  Why some people love Sunday church?  Why people want big families?  To have a connection. We are human being. We all need connection. And when we can't get it where we are we find it wherever we can. That can be said of anyone.

Husband doesn't feel connected at home he finds a mistress or hobby.
Children don't feel connected at home they find friends and hobbies
Hopefully in an ideal world they will be healthy ones and for most people at least they aren't lethal ones like joining Isis.

If we go strictly by the parameters they set than I fit the bill 100%. Yet ask anyone if I would ever hurt anyone ever. In my life. And the answer from anyone will be a resounding absolutely not. Never!!!  Because that isn't me. Not that I have hobbies or connections or have felt accepted in this country. Not that I am not depressed and isolated. I am all those things. But what I am not is stupid. To believe a cause that is not real.

Violence only begets more violence. Any small gains in change happen only with peace and understanding first; on all parts.

We are all one. Their really is not division. It's funny to me that the people that have no country should be the ones to understand that the most (in my opinion). When you go searching the world for where you belong you realize everyone, everywhere wants the same thing. It's just most people are too blind to see past the things that differentiate us to what binds us. To our humanity.  To the human experience. To our depth to love, our need to be valued, our desire to connect and the ability to be ourselves.

The error in thinking here is that while yes we should always be ourselves(no matter what); we should never impose ourselves on another without the others expressed permission or desire. This includes animal, being, place or thing.

Here's where people always get into trouble.

So the end of the story. The take away. Be careful. Because the government will bate you and take you to jail. At least that should be the take-away for people in this situation. Maybe it was the New York Times "we care" campaign. Hey you idiots thinking you're gonna find a connection with anyone or anything related to Isis or seemingly related to anything close to Isis. We're watching you. Especially now after Orlando. Even though that had more to do with him being gay and repressed as a Muslim.

Should I be scared too?
