really?

Women notoriously underreport rape

for personal reasons of fear

of shame

now think of boys/men

who live in a world where they have to be strong

where they can't show emotion as readily as girls/women still can

and imagine how often they would underreport it

yea, it's that bad

But my whole schtick

if one is to call it that

is to teach children to not be afraid

to follow their instincts

to not panic

to fight if need be*

because we aren't around 24/7 to protect them

but what we really must do beyond this

is to look deeply at the root causes of rape

and address those 

or it will keep going as it always has been

it's a vicious cycle

a horrendous predatory habit imprinted on the psyche

and we as a society

must address it face on

to stop it

*even if they are fighting with love

although that is truly a very underhanded way to fight

as it supposedly incapacitates your enemy

99.99 to infinity percent of the time

which I've been told equates to 100% by default

but tell that to the .0000 to infinity 1 percent

or the people pleading for their lives

as they are killed by those that are so filled with hate

but I suppose it is better to die with love in your heart

and peace in your soul

rather than anger

and bitterness

how can a soul rest

with that
